Deep Ellum

Tonight I went to Deep Ellum with a buddy to film people on the street giving testimonies on what Deep Ellum means to them. We met some very interesting people and one in particular opened my eyes a bit. Thank you Terry. There are a lot of things I can learn from you. We should all live more like you do. Simple and Homeless.

All our mansions and cars will turn to dust. Our money will lose it's value. The only thing worth investing in is others. My new life question... "What can I do for you?"
In a world where giving to the needy and "bailing" out family members is a "prerogative"... I believe we should make it an "imperative". If you have it... give it. And if you think your helping by withholding... your not. If you have and give not... BEWARE, you probably wont have your precious stuff much longer.
"Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered." Proverbs 21:13
I believe the generosity you show to others will be shown to you on that last day.
BUT, "Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor." Proverbs 22:9
Let us all share our bread with the poor. Let the blessings that were given to you be multiplied into someone else's life. They were never yours to keep to begin with... so be a cheerful giver!!! (2 Cor 9:7)
